My name is Shaun Chapman and I hope you will be as inspired by the beauty of exotic and tropical woods as I am. The woods I use are from all over the world and occasionally specially imported to the UK. You will find woods such as Zebrano, or Rosewoods such as Cocobolo that has one of the most beautiful grains found. The majority of woods I use are very rare but always come from managed and sustainable sources with the exception of Ancient Kauri which over 30,000 years old and has been found preserved in peat bogs. One day this will unfortunately no longer be available, with all that in mind to make pieces that can be loved and cherished is very important.

Everything I make is totally individual even down to the handmade pens and goblets and no two designs are ever exactly the same. Please do not mistake my pieces for the mass produced or imported items you see in shops or on other websites. No Stains or Dyes are ever used, this is why I am on a constant look out to find that special piece of hardwood to create that unique Jewellery box, or piece of furniture. The perfect gift for a man or woman who appreciates Fine Woodworking, individuality, and Arts and Crafts.

A great deal of pride goes into every piece i make, the beauty you can find in the grains of the woods can be nothing short of breathtaking at times, and then to turn that into something that can be cherished for years is so satisfying.
