Handturned Wooden Bowls

Wood is both practical and beautiful, I make salad bowls and fruit bowls as well as ornamental or Decorative Bowls. I also make other turned items such as wooden platters, wooden Goblets, Wooden Pens, Gifts, and wooden fruit.

All items are one of a kind and cannot be copied due to the uniqness of the wood.

All My items are hand turned here in Derbyshire using wood from all over the world. Some of these are Cooloibah, Cocobolo, Zebrano, and Olivewood. This wood imparts its own magic through natural colour, figure and weight. Some items we make are made using spalted wood which, though more difficult to find and turn effectively, often produces wonderfully figured and coloured items.

One of my personal favourites are the Red Malle burr bowls, with the deep red against the soft cream, makes for an eyecatching bowl, whether its as a fruit bowl or decorative bowl.

My bowls are of the highest quality and with proper care will last for generations. Don't be surprised if one of my bowls becomes your next family heifloom.
