Some bowls have natural defects, i will always try and show a picture of theses features as it is what makes bowl turning and working with wood so special and attractive, it is also what makes the biggest challenge in how to show mother natures imperfections off to its best form, This is what it is all about and if people want uniformity from a block of elm or similiar, then there are many mass produced products for sometimes a fraction of the price.

Every one of my bowls has pride and a lot of thought go into it, the wood may sit there for months before i even decide what to make with it, and then one day i will just see a shape or a particular grain in that peice of wood whether it be Zebrano, a Mallee Burr, or any of the other exotic woods that i use. Thats when the magic of working with wood starts, and what makes each bowl unique.

Each bowl is finished with with food safe waxes or polishes, even though some are used just for decorative purposes.

Whilst each Bowl is individual they are available as sets of any size. They can be simple or elegant, tall or short; and they are available in a variety of hardwood choices. from Zebrano to Tiger Wood.
