This Padauk Bowl has rich red/brown colour with deep pours, making a very natural looking and impressive peice.

African Padauk:: Grows in central and West Africa When freshly cut, is a very bright red but when exposed to sunlight fades over time to a warm brown. Padauk is laterally regard as the "National flower" of Myanmar Nationals. In Myanmar, padauk mostly blossom in April, around the Myanmar traditional new year, so it is highly valued by most of Myanmar Nationals, especially ladies.

as with all my peices it is signed dated, numbered and has the name of the wood engraved into the base. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity on parchment paper
