a unique one of a kind mirror, it is made entirely of Quarter Sawn English Oak. Quarter sawn is the best cut from a tree. With traditional hand cut mortise and tenon joints making for a very strong frame. Hand finished through 6 grades of sandpaper and hand polished with best quality waxes. Oil finish can be applied or left unfinished if required. Remember as with all my furniture range these oak mirrors are handmade to order and not mass produced.

Pilkington 4mm safety backed glass is used in all of my mirrors.

I do not use any dyes or stains in any of my products, so as to keep the original beauty of the timber intact. However if you wish to darken the oak yourself then just use a coloured wax polish from any diy store.
